  7. What is it?
  8. -----------

  10. MultiUtils is a bunch of handy utilities to grace your desktop. "But," I hear
  11. you cry, "I've already got 5 billion of those and," you wail, "they've filled
  12. my icon bar and memory to bursting. I can't get any work done..."
  13.  
  14. Well, fear not, MultiUtils has two rather neat features: the utilities are
  15. all modules and use up no more memory than they have to (the lot uses little
  16. more than 12k... and tends to fit in the module space usually left over after
  17. bootup :-) and they are not constrained to the icon bar, but are free to
  18. wander all over your desktop thanks to the wonderousness that is PinPatch, well,
  19. except !BD, because it would be really silly to have a backdrop program that
  20. can be dragged onto the iconbar...

  22. How do I use it?
  23. ----------------

  25. Well, the quickstart is to double click on !BD and then on !MultiUtils. You
  26. should find your desktop miraculously enhanced by a row of utilities and clocks.
  27. You can access the MultiUtils configuration utility by ALT+double-clicking
  28. the !MultiUtils icon, and configure the utilities individually via their own
  29. menus.

  34. Via the magic that is PinPatch, of course, which patches a pinboard application
  35. so that it can act as a surrogate icon bar...

  42. MultiUtils may be freely distributed so long as it is kept unmolested - *ALL*
  43. the original files (especially this one) from the original archive must be
  44. kept intact and unaltered in a distributed version. You may charge a nominal
  45. fee for distribution, unless you are distributing it electronically (eg via
  46. the Internet), when you must distribute it free of charge.
